College Park, GA – FCCS joined Liberation Academy to welcome students, families, and educators back to school with open arms – and scoops of ice cream. More than just a sweet treat, the ice cream social was an opportunity for the school community to come together, celebrate the kick-off of a new school year, and foster new connections with FCCS teammate, David Morgan. Liberation Academy public charter school is located in College Park, GA, and serves students in grades 5-8 in South Metro Atlanta and beyond. With a focus on rigorous academics, culturally relevant approaches, and computer science, the school creates unique experiences for students and empowers them to think critically about the world and themselves.
With the 2024-25 academic year officially underway, we’re excited about the learning and growth that awaits Liberation Academy students and students across the state and country.
